Jeff is a true local, having moved with his family to Sanibel and Captiva in the mid-80s where he started first grade at Sanibel Elementary. Growing up, fishing, playing and enjoying the islands has given Jeff a unique insight into the islands that he knows like the back of his hand. Very few can offer as much in-depth knowledge of Southwest Florida and especially Sanibel and Captiva as he can. From the island, Jeff went on to graduate from the University of Florida earning a bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in economics. He continued on to earn a master's in finance with a specialization in real estate from the University of Florida. In 1997, Jeff was honored by being accepted for an internship with United States Sen. Connie Mack in Washington, D.C., representing Florida. Jeff was hired directly out of college and became a loan officer for Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. In addition to his educational accomplishments, Jeff has also taken an active role in the community. Jeff served six years on the Sanibel and Captiva Island Association of REALTORS® board of directors, including four of those years as its treasurer. He also served on the associations MLS, Grievance and Ethics committees. Jeff is also an instructor for the Sanibel and Captiva Island Association of REALTORS®, teaching a class on beaches and waterways to fellow REALTORS® looking for their Sanibel and Captiva Islands Specialist designation. Jeff is also active in the community, serving on the board of directors for Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW), has served on the board of directors for People United to Restore our Rivers and Estuaries (PURRE) and has also worked with Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF). With his family, he is currently running one of the islands most productive real estate teams while watching his daughter attend the same school, he did over 30 years ago.
